Greg and I vacationed in St. John at the end of January. This tiny island in the US Virgin Islands, a short ferry ride from tourist-laden St. Thomas, is virtually unspoiled and wonderfully uncrowded. The beaches with their white sands and turquoise waters are amazing, excellent for snorkelling and diving. We went for a much-needed rest, and to escape the winter blues.
